Al Hajar Mountain Geology tour is an exclusive field trip to a limestone mine and quarry in Fujairah, at a leading limestone mining company in the United Arab Emirates. This educational excursion will provide your students with an in-depth understanding of limestone mining operations and its significance in the UAE's construction industry.

Content highlights are:

  • Embark on a guided tour of White Rock Minerals LLC's limestone mining facility, observing the various stages of the extraction process, giving the students a comprehensive understanding of limestone mining operations and their role in the UAE's economy.

  • Gain insights into the geological formation of limestone and its importance as a natural resource.

  • Learn about the environmental and safety measures implemented by Fujairah Natural Resources Commision to ensure sustainable mining practices.

It is a 2.5-hour tour. Students are given a Certificate of Participation at the end of the tour. Suggested time slot is 8:45AM to 11:15AM. 

 

No meals are included in the tour. The students have a short snack break in between where they can have their snack box. Students arrive and depart by schools buses organized by the school. 


  • Tour Cost: AED 50 per student. All teachers and assistant teachers are complimentary.
